What you pay, and what changes it

Understand your total before you choose. Every offer is shown the same way, so you can compare the complete cost of the rental.

What's in the number

The rental itself, for each period you rent.

Delivery and return, where the job is delivered: the supplier brings the trailer to your site and collects it at the end. If you would rather collect it yourself, you can say so when you post, and suppliers price it accordingly.

Neighbors Trailer's fees, which are part of the number you compare rather than something discovered afterwards.

Named before you post

Tax, where it applies. This is calculated at checkout based on your location, and on many rentals it is zero.

A refundable deposit, where the supplier’s listing has one. The deposit is refundable. A 3% processing fee on it is included in your total as a one-time charge, and that fee isn’t refunded. If no booking is ever made, we refund everything you paid, the fee included.

Medians from 8,555 bookings, Nov 2025 – Aug 2026. This is what rates have done, not a quote. What you pay depends on the trailer, the supplier and the distance.

Distance

Delivery and return are priced by the mile, both ways. A site 20 miles from the supplier and a site 120 miles away are very different quotes, which is why we invite the closest suppliers first.

How rentals longer than a month are billed

A rental of 30 days or less is one booking. A longer rental runs as consecutive bookings of up to 30 days each, at the monthly rate you accepted; a shorter final period’s rent is charged only for the days it covers. You are invoiced for each period rather than all at once, and delivery is charged once.

No surprise line items

No one quotes you a number and then adds to it. If something isn’t in the supplier’s price, this page says so.
