We invite suppliers near your site
We contact the closest suppliers with the right trailer: the nearest 25 within 75 miles. If nobody has bid by halfway, we widen the search.

Bidding runs for a set window
Suppliers submit a price. You will see them arrive, and we will email you when bidding closes.

Compare, and choose
Prices lock when bidding closes and you have time to decide. You can send the comparison to someone else for approval before you choose. They see it read-only and cannot act for you.
What you should know before you post
Posting is free and commits you to nothing.
You are not obliged to accept any price.
A rental of 30 days or less is one booking.
A longer rental runs as consecutive bookings of up to 30 days each, at the monthly rate you accepted; a shorter final period’s rent is charged only for the days it covers. You commit one period at a time, and you can end it after any period by telling us before it ends.
Nothing is reserved until each booking is made.
If a supplier becomes unavailable partway through, we will tell you and find a replacement where we can. If we cannot, you are not charged for that period and you can end the rental with no penalty.
Your details stay private while suppliers are pricing.
They see the metro area and nothing else, not your address, not your phone number, not your email. Nobody bidding can contact you.
The exact address, access instructions and site contact go to one supplier only, once that booking is confirmed, the one you chose, so they can arrange the delivery with you.
Payment
Two ways companies pay
Card through Neighbors Trailer (standard): available immediately. Card details are entered on Stripe's secure checkout page, and only after you have chosen a bid. Trailer Bid never sees your full card number.
Purchase-order terms: for approved corporate accounts. Choose it when you create your account, or have an administrator apply later from your company details. We review applications and email you the result. Once approved, you award with a PO number instead of a card, and each booked period is invoiced on net-30 terms. While review is pending, nothing is blocked. You can post, take bids, and award by card.
