A contractor near you needs a trailer. Name your price.

Trailer Bid is a Neighbors Trailer site where contractors post trailer requests and suppliers name their own price. If you list a trailer with Neighbors Trailer, you can be invited.

Bidding does not block your Neighbors Trailer calendar.

One invitation. One rate you name.

The contractor sees your price, the distance and your history. No other supplier sees your price.

1

Get invited when a job is near you

An invitation arrives by email, with the trailer type, the metro area, how long the job runs, and when bidding closes. One click and you are on the bid form, no password.

2

Review the job

See the requirements, the jobsite constraints, the dates and the contractor’s budget before you decide whether to price it.

3

Bid what you want to receive

Enter the amount you want to receive: a monthly rate on a rental of more than 30 days, one total on a shorter one. Neighbors Trailer adds its fees on top, so your number is the number you take home, and your delivery charge comes to you in full. Tax is the contractor’s, added at their checkout.

4

If you win, we set up the booking

You do not have to do anything. Neighbors Trailer arranges each booking (consecutive bookings of up to 30 days each) and you are paid the way you always are, at the end of each one.

Familiar payout. Delivery stays yours.

You receive your full monthly rate, plus delivery. Neighbors Trailer’s fee is added to the contractor’s price, not taken out of yours.

On a long rental, delivery is often the largest single line in your quote. It comes to you whole.

Your delivery charge
100%

Comes to you whole, with no commission taken from it.

You stay in control before close

A bid is optional. Winning creates a commitment to the full rental term.

Nobody sees what anyone else bid

You will see where your price ranks, and nothing else about the competition. No bid amounts, no bidder count.

Bidding does not block your calendar

Neither does winning. You can keep taking other bookings. Availability is checked again each time a booking is made.

Withdraw freely before bidding closes

Before bidding closes, you can withdraw for any reason. It costs nothing and has no effect on your standing. After close, a submitted bid is firm.

The contractor stays private while you price

You will see the metro area rather than the exact address while you are pricing, and no contact details. If you win, you get the address, access instructions and site contact so you can arrange the delivery.

Winning means committing to the whole term

A rental longer than a month is several consecutive bookings. If you win, you are committing the trailer for every period, not just the first.

If you stop partway through, you stop receiving Trailer Bid invitations, and Neighbors Trailer may withhold payout under the cancellation policy in your existing terms.

If a request is not right

You can decline, and tell us why:

  • Too far away
  • Wrong trailer for the job
  • Not available on those dates
  • Budget is too low for this job

That is the only way we learn which jobs to send you, and the budget answer is the most useful one we get. Ignoring an invitation costs you nothing, and nothing affects your standing unless you win and then abandon the term.
